Belize Highways

The road network in Belize consists of over 1,900 miles (3,000 km) of roads, of which approximately 357 miles (575 km) is paved.

Belize has six major asphalt-paved two-lane roads:

1. Northern Highway (Philip Goldson Highway) between Belize City and the Mexican border north of Corozal (95 miles or 153 kilometres).

2. Western Highway (George Price Highway) between Belize City and the Guatemalan border near Benque Viejo del Carmen (78.3 miles or 126.0 kilometres).

3. Hummingbird Highway from Belmopan to Dangriga (55 miles or 89 kilometres).

4. Southern Highway from Dangriga to Punta Gorda (104 miles or 167 kilometres).

5. Manuel Esquivel Highway from Dangriga to (La Democracia, Belize).

6. John Smith Highway from Western Pines to Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport.
